We support efforts to strengthen the rule of law and advance the rights of all citizens, including women, minority groups, and marginalized populations.
The Tifa Foundation works to build a society where citizens, the government, and business support individual rights and good governance in Indonesia.

Tifa Foundation Indonesia

Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world and the largest country in Southeast Asia, has transformed itself into a thriving democracy since the collapse of the authoritarian regime in 1998. The Tifa Foundation has contributed to this process by supporting efforts that strengthen the rule of law and protect and advance the rights of all citizens, including women, minority groups, and marginalized populations.

Our main areas of activity are democracy and governance, human rights and access to justice, media and information, and protecting the rights of migrant workers. We pursue our mission of promoting open society in Indonesia primarily through partnerships with civil society.
