Arthur Lumen Gevorgyan will document how communities living within active landslide zones in Armenia are affected in order to show policy makers the human costs behind such disasters as well as the importance of enacting and enforcing immediate preventative policies.
Gevorgyan is founder and director of Lumen Photo Studio in Yerevan, Armenia. Since 2009, he has organized photography workshops and trained 150 students. Gevorgyan works as a freelance photographer for various magazines in Armenia as well as for the United Nations Development Program. In 2007 he graduated from the State Engineering University of Armenia.
