Lynn Johnson, in partnership with the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Pittsburgh Filmmakers, and the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh presented her project Hate Kills to the public to initiate a community-wide conversation about prejudice and intolerance. The project featured indoor and outdoor exhibits, a catalogue, workshops, and a webcam where visitors contributed their own portrait and five words that speak to the core of their identity.
Johnson has practiced photojournalism for over 30 years, shooting for international magazines including National Geographic and Sports Illustrated, where she is a staff photographer.
