Study Tour for Inter-parliamentarian Standing Committee on Harm Reduction
The Asian Inter-parliamentarian Standing Committee on Harm Reduction, a part of Asian Forum for Parliamentarians on Population and Development (AFPPD), was formed to promote harm reduction and drug policy change in the Asian region, to focus on advocacy with other Members of Parliament (MPs), on effective policy and legislative changes as well as providing a mechanism for dialogue with communities of people who use drugs and people living with HIV.
The Study Tour will provide learning and networking opportunities for 3 MPs from the region to participate at the 21st International Harm Reduction Conference (including specialized conference program, side events, high level meetings and site visits), organized in Liverpool, England on April 25-29, 2010.
