Finding Coherence: International Drug Control and Armed Conflict
The goal of the "Finding Coherence: International Drug Control and Armed Conflict" project is to extend the "harm reduction" approach from drug consumption to drug production and its suppressionin Afghanistan in order to better align enforcement of international drug control regimes withcounter-insurgency, state-building, peace-building, and poverty reduction goals.The research findings will be used to inform policy changes in the counter-narcotics and counter-insurgency policies of individual bilateral donors in fghanistan.
