Building an Integral Approach to Drug Policy in Mexico
In 2008 CUPIHD received its first grant from OSI Global Drug Policy Program in order to have an active participation in the International AIDS Conference held in Mexico City. The positive results obtained at the conference allowed it to obtain this second grant from the Global Drug Policy Program in conjunction with OSI's Latin America Program, to formally build the first organization in Mexico dedicated to working on drugs and drug policy from a human rights and harm reduction perspective.
