Druglink International
Two issues of Druglink International will be produced, focusing on drug policy, harm reduction and human rights perspectives. If successful, the long-term aim is to publish the magazine quarterly and to make it available in hard copy and online. The first issue will be distributed at two major conferences in May and August (IHRA in Barcelona, Mexico AIDS conference) and will aim at educating both communities about the 2009 High Level Meeting on drugs.
In addition, the magazine will be circulated among relevant policy people, administrators and politicians at both national and international levels. The second issue will be produced before December 2008 with a focus on public education about the 2009 High Level Meeting on drugs. The vast network of DrugScope's contacts, consisting of freelance journalists and photo-journalists in both the UK and around the world, will be engaged in the project not only in writing articles, but also in placing materials in the mainstream media in different countries.
