From Rhetoric to Action: Mainstreaming Human Rights in the Work of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime
The purpose of the grant is to make a start at mainstreaming human rights considerations within the drug enforcement activities of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) through promoting concrete programmatic cooperation between UNODC and Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). In doing so, the project seeks to move UNODC beyond its recently increased human rights rhetoric towards putting its human rights responsibilities into practice.
