Support and Promotion of Substitution Treatment in Poland

The project aims to improve the availability of substitution treatment in Poland. Objectives include encouraging and supporting institutions to set up substitution treatment, promoting substitution treatment among local authorities and bringing discussion into the public sphere via mass media campaigns, as well as supporting existing communities of substitution users. A particular stress will be placed on working with the homeless. Concrete results of the project will consist of a website, a registered federation of substitution program patients' associations, and an increased number of seats in substitution programs.
