INPUD - Organisation Development and Emergency Response
The purpose of this grant is to provide support for Release Leads Ltd. for the INPUD project, a global network that seeks to protect the health and promote the rights of people who use drugs. INPUD stands for The International Network for People who Use Drugs.
Indonesia is in the process of enacting a drug law that among other things will criminalise the relationship between people who use drugs and their parents or force parents to report their children for taking drugs. INPUD will bring a focus to this issue with a national campaign based on capturing the views and experiences of people affected by the proposed law. The country level work will be supported by international advocacy work. INPUD's overall purpose is to protect the health and defend the rights of people who use drugs.
