Collective Advocacy Action / "Eight Cities"
The project is a collective advocacy action prepared by organizations from 8 Indonesian cities: Jakarta, Banten, Bandung, Tasikmalaya, Cirebon, Surabaya, Semarang and Bali. It consists of three parts. First, with the active participation of drug users, it aims to change the course of drug policy in Indonesia and increase drug users' active participation in the drug policy amendment process.
Second, it intends to promote rehabilitation as an alternative to incarceration as a sanction for drug users. Third, it will provide training which addresses the need of organizations to gather knowledge and develop skills necessary for initially dealing with the data and then use the information as advocacy tools to inform and develop public opinion.
