A grant to use video and online technology to increase the access of APNSW's members to relevant policy and program information in local languages and improve APNSW's communication on sex worker health and rights issues to a wider audience. The project seeks to bring together APNSW's film and video advocacy work with its multi-lingual website by: training key activists from across the network in video skills in order to produce regular online updates for information sharing and advocacy; gathering footage for further video work; and developing website content in key regional languages. APNSW plans to focus its efforts on bringing to light the impacts of the implementation of anti-trafficking laws and approaches on sex workers' human rights and promoting rights-based and evidence-based approaches to HIV programming for sex workers. This grant was funded in partnership with the Public Health Program's Health Media Initiative and OSI's Information Program.
