A grant to finalize and disseminate data describing the demographics, risk behaviors, human rights situation and HIV prevalence of men who have sex with men (MSM) in South Africa. The research will help to increase awareness on these issues among local MSM communities in order that they can advocate for increased resources. The foundation will produce a fact sheet and technical report to share project data with MSM communities, key partners, and government bodies. This grant was funded in partnership with the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa.
