The Asian American Justice Center (AAJC) works to advance the human and civil rights for Asian Americans, and build and promote a fair and equitable society for all. In 2010, AAJC and its three affiliates—the Asian American Institute, the Asian Law Caucus, and the Asian Pacific Legal Center of Southern California—formed the Asian American Center for Advancing Justice, a vehicle for building a unified voice across the Asian American community. Objectives of this project support grant are two-fold: 1) to strengthen the technological and web communications capacity of AAJC and its affiliates and 2) to ensure compliance with the Voting Rights Act and eliminate linguistic barriers to political participation for Asian Americans in Texas.
