Building Bridges

Building Bridges seeks to create a network of faith leaders connected to communities of color and supportive of LGBTQ equality.  Building Bridges will provide faith leaders resources and opportunities to demonstrate how their respective traditions call for compassion and inclusion of LGBTQ people.  This project aims to challenge the perception that communities of color, especially those rooted in strong organized religions, are categorically opposed to LGBTQ equality—a perception that deepens divisions among communities and fuels inequality. This grant will support two convenings of faith leaders.
