The Open Society Foundations and Echoing Green have established a new fellowship program for individuals dedicated to improving the life outcomes of black men and boys in the U.S. This grant supports Echoing Green’s expansion of its work into the field of black male achievement by enabling Echoing Green to: 1) work with CBMA to identify and invest in up to eight fellows focused on developing innovative projects to support black male achievement in CBMA’s target cities; and 2) build a long-term sustainability model for the fellowship program. It is the first fellowship program of its kind that targets social entrepreneurs who are starting up new and innovative organizations in the field of black male achievement.
