Host: Women’s Foundation of California
Gina Clayton will establish an organization designed to help women with incarcerated loved ones become leaders in the struggle against mass incarceration.
Since graduating from Harvard Law School, Clayton has worked or interned at some of the country’s most respected defender and criminal justice reform organizations, including the Southern Center for Human Rights, Public Defender Services for the District of Columbia, and as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. She also served for two years on the NAACP’s National Board of Directors, representing nine states as a voting member and member of the executive committee.
Clayton received her BA cum laude from the University of Southern California.
