A project grant to Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP) will support the LGBT Latino Initiative. HIP works to strengthen Latino communities by increasing resources for the organizations serving Latinos; support Latino participation and leadership throughout the field of philanthropy; and foster policy change to achieve equity for Latinos. The LGBT Latino Initiative seeks to 1) educate Latino communities about LGBTQ issues; 2) strengthen LGBTQ Latino organizations and support LGBTQ Latino leaders; and 3) facilitate coordination between LGBTQ and Latino organizations and community leaders.
