The Institute for Responsible Citizenship's Youth Scholar Academy is a mentoring, community service and youth leadership development program.

Founded in 2002, the Institute serves high-achieving African American male college students who lack the social and economic opportunities necessary for success. The Institute’s mission is to develop a strong corps of talented African American young men who will serve as role models for their peers and younger boys in their communities.
