    A grant to provide general support.

  • Alison Little 2007

    A grant to address the effects of "zero-tolerance" educational policies and the drastic underfunding of public mental health and educational services in Texas, which fuel a "school-to-prison pipeline."

  • American Bar Association Fund for Justice and Education 2007

    A grant to support the work of the ABA Commission on Effective Criminal Sanctions.

  • Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice 2007

    A grant to support Astraea's U.S. Grantmaking Program.

  • Bard College 2007

    A grant to continue support for the expansion of the Bard Prison Initiative's Model Campus Network and democracy curriculum in New York State, and collaboration with advocates across the country to restore higher education to qualified people in prison.

  • Campaign for Youth Justice 2007

    A grant to provide general support.

  • Citizens Alliance on Prisons and Public Spending 2007

    A grant to support the Campaign for Michigan Sentencing Reform: public education on sentencing, parole and alternatives to incarceration in Michigan.

  • COLAGE 2007

    A grant to support the Community Building and Training Program, which helps children of LGBT parents connect with each other and conducts advocacy and education efforts that address the inequalities children and their families face.

  • Columbia University 2007

    A grant to identify and analyze the sources and dynamics of racial discrimination in two criminal justice institutions, policing and capital punishment, and to fashion effective interventions and remedies targeted at the structural and institutional bases of persistent bias.

  • Communications Leadership Institute 2007

    A grant to provide technical assistance to sentencing reform advocates to develop a plan to educate the public about federal drug sentencing policies, particularly the disparity between crack and powder cocaine.
