  • 9to5 National Association of Working Women 2010

    A grant to provide general support to the 9to5 National Association of Working Women.

  • A New Way of Life 2010

    A grant to develop and implement a communications strategy that leverages the prestige and publicity associated with the Gleitsman Citizen Activist and CNN s Top Ten Heroes awards to raise awareness about the value of local and national efforts to support the successful reentry of formerly incarcerated people

  • Advocates for Children and Youth, Inc. 2010

    A grant to engage in coalition-building, public education, and advocacy efforts to support juvenile justice reform.

  • Alexandra Cox 2010

    Cox will develop and implement research and protocols for improving relationships between youth and staff in juvenile facilities.

  • Alison McCrary 2010

    McCrary will challenge law enforcement practices that criminalize New Orleans Social Aid and Pleasure Clubs and Mardi Gras Indian tribes.

    A core support grant to Alliance for Educational Justice, a project of the Movement Strategy Center.

    A grant to engage formerly incarcerated people in grassroots organizing, leadership development, and criminal justice policy reform.
