Roma ACCESS NGO will organize informational campaigns on patients’ rights, health promotion and disease prevention in targeted Roma communities, with specific focus on Roma women. Parallel with working with Roma communities, the organization will also target local family doctors to sensitize them on culturally-determined, specific health needs of Roma communities. In addition, Roma ACCESS NGO will address discrimination in access to health care by documenting such cases and providing legal assistance to victims, as well as supporting local health mediators to address cases of discrimination and to get organized for professional representation.
