The Alliance for Educational Justice (AEJ) is comprised of membership-based organizations committed to engagement of youth of color, LGBTQ youth, and their parents—key constituencies deeply impacted by racialized achievement gaps and bias based disparities in school disciplinary policies. AEJ is anchored by Make the Road New York, the Philadelphia Student Union, and Youth United for Change and has member organizations in Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Oakland, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Wichita. This grant to AEJ supports its work to promote non-punitive school reforms and safe learning environments for all students.
