Recommendations for the EU-Kyrgyzstan Human Rights Dialogue 2012

This paper asks the European Union to take the opportunity of the European Union - Kyrgyzstan Human Rights Dialogue on 19 September 2012 to urge the government of Kyrgyzstan to provide redress for the torture of human rights defender Azimjan Askarov, as well as to change policies and practices that will prevent torture and discrimination against human rights defenders and ethnic  minorities in the  future.
