Introducing the 2013 Production Grantees from Central Asia, the South Caucasus, Afghanistan, Mongolia, and Pakistan

The Open Society Documentary Photography Project has awarded nine grants to photographers from Central Asia, the South Caucasus, Afghanistan, Mongolia, and Pakistan to produce work on pressing human rights and social issues in the region. Organized in partnership with Al-liquindoi Workshops, the grant program provides two master-level workshops on visual storytelling led by internationally recognized photographers Thomas Dworzak and Yuri Kozyrev, and industry professionals Adrian Kelterborn and Andrei Polikanov, who will also provide ongoing mentorship throughout the six-month term.
