Amy Weil is a senior communications officer at the Open Society Foundations. She works closely with programs and grantees to develop media strategies to raise public awareness of their work in the United States and around the world. Weil came to the Open Society Foundations from the headquarters of the American Civil Liberties Union, where she helped implement national news campaigns to promote racial justice, gay rights, drug policy reform, and other civil liberties issues.
