As director of donor partnerships, Ida le Duc helps Open Society Foundations build strong co-funding relationships for major initiatives and, over time, for a wide array of initiatives across the Foundations. Her fundraising focus is on individuals and family foundations.
Based in the London office, within the Office of the President, le Duc works closely with the Chairman, members of boards and Foundations leadership and colleagues to engage individual donors and to help steward relationships with existing donors and friends of the organization.
Before joining Open Society Foundations, le Duc was Director of Development and Corporate Relations at INSEAD, the graduate business school in Fontainebleau, France, where she led the school’s fundraising activities and steered relationships with the school’s key individual stakeholders in the UK and with corporations worldwide. She was a member of the fundraising team who successfully completed a Euro 200 million capital campaign in 2009. Before INSEAD, Ida held fundraising and business development positions in Dublin, Ireland, with Community Counselling services (CCS Fundraising), the National College of Ireland, and Siemens.
Le Duc is an alumna of INSEAD’s general management programmes and holds a master’s degree from Dublin City University.
