Joseph Behaylo is director of network grants management and external funding support and is based at the Open Society Institute–New York. He coordinates network oversight of fundraising from non-OSI sources and works to leverage and increase capacity and resources in this area. He also works to further integrate industry best practices with the New York, Budapest, and national foundation grantmaking operations.
Behaylo is a board member of the Grants Managers Network and has served as a member of the Council on Foundations annual conference committee for foundation operations. He has a master’s degree in public administration from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Michigan State University.
