Karen Corrie

Karen Corrie is a Justice Initiative Litigation Fellow sponsored by SPEAK – Human Rights and Environmental Initiative. Corrie has spent the past three and a half years with the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court. Over that time she worked as a Legal Intern, became an Associate Analyst with the Investigation Division, and most recently was an Associate Trial Lawyer with the Prosecution Division.

Previously, Corrie worked as an Assistant District Attorney with the New York County District Attorney’s Office (Manhattan), which included pursuit of cases under New York State’s Anti-Human Trafficking Law. While earning her JD at the American University Washington College of Law, she contributed to ongoing suits filed under the Alien Tort Statute and Torture Victims Protection Act.
