Kholi Buthelezi

Kholi Buthelezi is a professional sex worker and the National Coordinator for the Sisonke Sex Worker Movement in South Africa. She also serves as the African Sex Worker Alliance Country Coordinator for South Africa. Buthelezi has conducted trainings on advanced facilitation, supervision and management skills, time and stress management, and basic HIV for non-clinicians. She believes that sex workers are human rights defenders, and her passion is working with her colleagues to provide education about health issues, human rights, and better working conditions, as well as building strong partnerships with sex workers. Buthelezi loves her work and is proud to bring change into the lives of sex workers. Her goal is to continue to build Sisonke’s capacity and strength to help sex workers achieve their rights.
