Until May 2013, Lakshmi Anantnarayan was a program officer for the Open Society Mental Health Initiative. Previously, Anantnarayan was involved in the international women’s movement for more than 12 years, working as the communications director for Equality Now and on reproductive rights and domestic violence in the United States and India. She holds two Masters degrees in social work and sustainable international development.
