Maria Archuleta is a communications officer for U.S. Programs at the Open Society Foundations. She works with the Foundations’ programs and grantees on strategies to raise public awareness of their work in the United States. Archuleta came to the Open Society Foundations from the American Civil Liberties Union, where she worked on national media strategies in immigrants’ rights, racial justice, women’s rights, and other civil liberties issues.
