Mary Frances Lindstrom is the director of the East East Beyond Borders Program of the Open Society Foundations, based in London. She has been affiliated with the Open Society Foundations for over 20 years, beginning with the Soros Foundation–Soviet Union in New York in 1990. As director of the East East Beyond Borders Program, Lindstrom oversees the program’s global portfolio of international peer exchange, learning, and cooperation among civil society actors and activists.
She studied political science and intellectual history at undergraduate and graduate levels.
