Mimi Corcoran is an special adviser to the director of U.S. Programs on poverty issues. Previously, she was the director of the former Special Fund for Poverty Alleviation at the Open Society Foundations.
Prior to joining the Foundations, Corcoran was an independent management consultant and served as the executive director of the Beginning with Children Foundation, Inc. She serves on the boards of a variety of educational and youth related institutions.
