Priti Patel is the deputy director and HIV program manager at the Southern African Litigation Centre, a grantee of the Open Society Foundations. Previously, Patel was an attorney at Human Rights First, where she led field missions to Afghanistan, monitored military commission trials at Guantanamo Bay, and worked on amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court.
