Robert Biedron is a member of the Polish parliament and one of the founders and key leaders of the Campaign Against Homophobia in Poland. This group has been one of the most successful LGBTI rights groups in the former Soviet Union and has developed strong advocacy and community mobilization approaches despite a very conservative political context at the national level. Biedron has been one of the key thinkers behind the success of the group. He also has a strong background in human rights and is well respected within the broader Polish civil society and human rights movements. Biedron received an MS from Warmia and Mazuria University in Poland, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Humanistic Academy in Poland.
