Shamshad Rehmatullah is the Tanzania Program Officer. Bringing 25 years of experience on women’s and human rights issues, Rehmatullah has served as a trainer, grant maker, director and consultant with a number of Tanzanian and international organizations. She last worked with Oxfam Novib as a program officer for seven years covering East Africa and South Asia. Before joining Oxfam, Rehmatullah worked with a number of Tanzanian nongovernmental groups, including the Kilimanjaro Women Information and Consultancy Exchange and the Tanzania Women Lawyer’s Association.
Rehmatullah graduated with LL.B and LL.M degrees from the University of Dar es Salaam law school.
