With the Open Society Justice Initiative since 2008, Stephanie Yung is a program coordinator working on anticorruption and administration based in the New York office. She is a graduate of Columbia University and received her bachelor’s degree studying English and visual arts with a concentration in human rights.
Yung studied abroad in Spring 2007 at the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa. She previously volunteered in Western Kenya as a teacher at Rehema Preparatory School, a grassroots early education institute established for HIV/AIDS orphans. In her final year at Columbia, she was the Development Intern at the International Crisis Group.
