Will Cohen is a senior communications officer with the Open Society Justice Initiative. He concentrates on visual storytelling, using the immediacy of images to drive engagement on human rights issues.
Before joining the Open Society Foundations, he spent ten years working on a range of media platforms. He began his career on the editorial staff of The New Yorker and later worked as a creative executive in Hollywood.
Most recently, he was a producer with Rain Media in New York, working on international broadcast reporting for PBS’s flagship documentary series, FRONTLINE. Projects included reports from Gaza, Iraq, and Haiti, and two award-winning films on Afghanistan.
