To support The Gathering for Justice, a civil rights organization that offers leadership development and organizing trainings to build a national movement to end youth incarceration and to address the underlying structural inequality that contributes to mass incarceration.  This grant supports The Gathering's regional Chicago and Milwaukee leadership development and organizing trainings that will equip black males with the advocacy and facilitation skills to address structural inequities in their communities through grassroots mobilization and organizing.

This grant is co-funded by U.S. Programs' Campaign for Black Male Achievement ($75,000) and the Democracy and Power Fund ($25,000).
