The Open Society Justice Initiative has prepared short summaries of key decisions and other developments relating to international criminal justice taken in the International Criminal Court (ICC), and other international criminal tribunals, from May 2012 to March 2013.  These summaries build on our monitoring of the first trials at the ICC—including the trials arising out of the situation in Kenya, as well as the trials of Thomas Lubanga, of Jean-Pierre Bemba, and of Germain Katanga and Mathieu Ngudjolo—and are part of our work on international justice.

They also complement our digest of judgments and other developments before national courts relating to international crimes.

The summaries are part of our Case Digests series. They are produced by staff at the Justice Initiative in order to make decisions of the global justice mechanisms accessible to the widest possible audience.
