Alissa Sadler joined the Open Society Foundations in November 2012. Based in New York, Sadler is a communications officer for the Public Health Program. She works to promote the work of the program and grantees to a variety of audiences through web initiatives, publications, and media outreach.
Prior to joining the Open Society Foundations, Sadler worked at Signals Design Group—a Vancouver-based design and communication agency. There she worked on a range of campaigns and specialized in digital storytelling, social media strategy, and strategic communications. She has also worked in communications for the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS—Canada’s leading HIV/AIDS and harm reduction research organization.
