Eszter Szucs

Eszter Szűcs is a program specialist at the Open Society Initiative for Europe, where she works to reclaim local public spheres in Central Europe, aiming to strengthen, revive, and widen the constituencies that support open society values.

Prior to joining Open Society in 2012, Szűcs worked for a Budapest-based law firm for a number of years before returning to graduate school and earning her MA in women’s and gender studies in 2010. While completing her studies at Georgia State University, she worked for the Women’s Studies Institute as a research assistant, and participated in numerous academic projects.
