Fritz Streiff is a litigation fellow at the Open Society Justice Initiative, where he is involved with strategic human rights litigation. Streiff has a particular focus on cases in the fields of international conflict and justice, anticorruption, and fundamental human rights abuses.
Prior to joining the Justice Initiative, Streiff worked on corruption, money laundering, and asset recovery issues as a project and research officer with Transparency International Netherlands. He previously worked as an attorney at Allen & Overy LLP, where he was a litigation associate focusing on white collar crime, antibribery, anticorruption, and pro bono public defense. Streiff has also worked with Human Rights Watch in Berlin, Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos in Honduras, Prakken d'Oliveira Human Rights Lawyers in Amsterdam, the Public International Law & Policy Group, the United Nations Development Programme in Myanmar, the United Nations tribunals for Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia, and ZOA Refugee Care in Ethiopia.
Streiff holds a BA in international law, relations, and development from University College Utrecht, and an LLB and an LLM from Utrecht University School of Law.
