Jamie Wood is a program specialist with the U.S. Programs’ Campaign for a New Drug Policy. He processes grants and supports a network of partners and grantees within the nexus of criminal justice, health care and drug policy. He came to the Campaign for a New Drug Policy from the International Women’s Program at the Open Society Foundations.
Previously, he worked for Amnesty International, USA, supporting a broad range of national campaign efforts. He spent two years on the Thai/Burmese border as a volunteer coordinator, teacher, and fundraiser for an organization that works to prevent child trafficking.
He has an MA in public health with a concentration in epidemiology from the CUNY School of Public Health.
