Marina Ilminska is an associate policy officer for national criminal justice reform with the Open Society Justice Initiative. Between 2008 and 2012, Ilminska primarily coordinated the Global Campaign for Pretrial Justice. Since then she has been a member of several teams that focus on various aspects of criminal justice issues.
Prior to joining the Open Society Justice Initiative, Ilminska was an intern with the Open Society Local Government Initiative program. Her other previous professional positions include working in the fields of international education and international business.
Ilminska received a BS degree in international business and French language and literature from Montreat College in North Carolina and completed an MA program in public policy (fiscal decentralization and international public policy streams) at Central European University in Budapest.
