Radhika Coomaraswamy

Radhika Coomaraswamy served as the UN undersecretary-general as special representative for children and armed conflict and earlier as the UN special rapporteur on violence against women. In addition to her international leadership in defense of women and children, Coomaraswamy brings over 20 years of experience in promoting progressive constitutional reform, primarily in her home country of Sri Lanka, where she previously served as chairperson of the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission.
