Tatyana Margolin is acting regional director for Eurasia. In this capacity, Margolin oversees the Eurasia Program, as well as manages relationships with the eight national foundations in the Eurasia region.
Prior to joining the Eurasia Program, Margolin was a joint program officer for the Open Society Public Health Program’s Law and Health Initiative and the International Harm Reduction Development program, where she focused on integration of legal aid and harm reduction initiatives. She was previously a foreign law clerk at the Supreme Court of Israel and a staff attorney at the Women’s Law Project, a nonprofit legal advocacy organization committed to fighting discrimination against women.
Margolin holds a JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, an LLM in human rights law from the University of Nottingham School of Law in England, and a BA from George Washington University.
