Zsolt Bobis is an associate policy officer with the Open Society Justice Initiative’s Equality and Inclusion cluster, working on projects focusing on antidiscrimination, citizenship, profiling, and economic justice.
Bobis joined the Open Society Justice Initiative as a legal fellow in 2011, working on freedom of information and expression as well as community empowerment clinics. He had previously worked at the Hungarian Human Rights Foundation’s Budapest and New York offices as part of the Hungarian American Enterprise Scholarship Fund’s Professional Internship Program.
Bobis holds master's degrees in American studies, English language and literature, and teacher training from the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest; and an MA in human rights with clinical and EU law specializations from Central European University. He also earned an MS degree with an investigative specialization from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
