Zsolt Bobis is a program coordinator with the Open Society Justice Initiative’s Equality and Inclusion cluster, working on projects focusing on antidiscrimination, citizenship, profiling, and economic justice.
Bobis joined the Open Society Justice Initiative as a legal fellow in 2011, working on freedom of information/expression and community empowerment clinics. He had previously worked at the Hungarian Human Rights Foundation’s Budapest and New York offices in the framework of the Hungarian American Enterprise Scholarship Fund’s Professional Internship Program.
Bobis holds MA degrees in American studies, English language and literature, and teacher training from the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, as well as in human rights from Central European University. He is currently pursuing an MSc degree at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism as a fellow at the Toni Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism.
