This Open Society Foundations report provides the first detailed account of mistreatment at a classified U.S. screening facility in Afghanistan. Confinement Conditions at a U.S. Screening Facility on Bagram Air Base calls on the government to investigate detention standards at the facility and recommends immediate actions to reduce the likelihood of mistreatment, such as providing additional blankets and food to detainees.
